Vilaqua is a branded range of sustainable and compliant water based resins from Vil. Formulated within our laboratories and manufactured at our plant in the UK.

There are four product classifications within the range.

Principal key uses and features of specific resins within each clasification are listed below.

Vilaqua Alkyd Emulsions.

• High gloss decorative paints with good durability and low VOC
• Urethane modified alkyd emulsion with excellent drying properties and chemical resistance
• High gloss decorative paints with good durability and excellent penetration
• Economical gloss paints with good drying properties

Vilaqua Water Thinnable Alkyds.

• Additions of amines or ammonia to produce aqueous spray paints and inks
• In water based stoving paints with good durability
• Waterbased paints with outstanding gloss for decorative applications
• Paints with outstanding gloss and drying properties for both industrial and decorative applications

Vilaqua Water Thinnable Polyesters.

• Water based stoving paints with excellent non-yellowing properties

Vilaqua Water Thinnable Oil.

• Co-solvent & Amine free for excellent wood impregnation
